I work great with...

  • Navigating a major life transition? Whether it’s starting fresh or facing the unexpected, I’m here to help you feel grounded, connected, and supported every step of the way.
  • Tired of childhood trauma casting a shadow on your life? Let’s work together to heal, break free, and create the relationships and life you truly deserve.
  • If you want better connections in life! Whether it’s with yourself or others, I’ll guide you in building healthier, more fulfilling relationships and recovering from past hurts or abuse.
  • Seeking sobriety or struggling with addiction? Let’s chart a path to a meaningful, full life free from addiction. If you’re an ACoA (Adult Child of an Alcoholic or dysfunctional family), we’ll work to understand your past and foster personal growth.
  • LGBTQIA+ folks who want an affirming space to explore identity, lived experiences of gender, family, dynamics, and relationships. As part of your community, I bring understanding, insight, and care to help you navigate queerness--joyfully
  • If you're seeking more balance and joy. I’ll help you regulate emotions, develop healthy coping skills, and make space for happiness in your everyday life.
  • Graduate school wearing you out? Together, we’ll tackle the academic pressure, writer’s block, and burnout, so you can focus on thriving—not just surviving.

Style & Approach

As your therapist, my priority is creating a safe, supportive space where you can explore your feelings, understand your needs, heal emotional wounds, and move toward life choices that truly reflect your goals and values. I like to think of my approach as “resilience-informed” rather than just “trauma-informed.” Together, we’ll focus on building your inner resilience—the strength that will help you face and heal from past challenges.

This process is about developing greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and even a sense of joy. We’ll work on skills to navigate heavy emotions, ease anxiety, and lift feelings of depression. I know starting this journey might feel overwhelming, but you won’t be doing it alone. I’ll be there to help you imagine what’s possible and break it down into small, manageable steps to get there—one step at a time.

Some of the approaches I Use...

  • Internal Family Systems techniques
  • Somatic Experiencing
  • Narrative Therapy
  • Mindfulness-based Therapy
  • Person-Centered Therapy
  • Inner Child Work
  • Resilience-focused Trauma Therapy

Fun Facts

I have an impressive collection of emotional support mugs—they bring me so much comfort!

My go-to self-care involves journaling and meditation with a big, strong cup of coffee. I also attend a weekly meditation meeting.

I’m a runner and often find my peace and focus out on the trail. My big dream for 2026 is to run across Iceland!

My dog, Maxie, is a total diva. He’s not a fan of running or paddleboarding (one of my favorite activities) but prefers to chill with me and watch Netflix. Our favorite show? Umbrella Academy.

I’m originally from Canada (most recently).

I’m known for my dad jokes—but don’t worry, I keep them out of sessions!

I absolutely love history museums. I’m the person who reads every single historical marker and then tells my friends all about how they made bricks 200 years ago.
