I work great with...
- Young adults/late adolescents struggling with anxiety, OCD, and transitional phases of life.
- LGBTQ+ clients struggling/learning to cope with life transitions, depression, interpersonal, and intrapersonal issues within familial and/or other support networks, i.e., significant others, and friendships.
- Clients who have immigrated/emigrated from other countries and are wanting to build stronger support networks within their new communities, help themselves, and their family relationships, and to better navigate life transitions and challenges.
- Women and men who have suffered Narcissistic abuse: Divorced women and men who are wanting to build healthy skills to navigate anxiety and stress, as well as learning to the new dynamics of family relationships, as well as the new individual that will be discovered through the therapeutic process/journey.
- Clients from families of other heritages/cultural backgrounds, who are struggling to “find their place” within their communities, and would like to learn more about themselves within their new communities, i.e., schooling, university, living in a new town (Austin/Greater Austin Area), etc.
- Clients who feel stuck in depressive and anxious cycles that get in the way of living in the present moment, and want to find better ways to cope with mood struggles.
- Clients who want to continue working in their Eating Disorder (ED) recovery, as well as those who may be new to ED recovery and would like to address the core issues that are allowing them to feel stuck in their recovery. Clients I work with include: Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, ARFID, Orthorexia, and BED.

Fun Facts
My favorite animal is the mountain lion
Relaxing for me is all about being able to enjoy the company of others as well as myself, usually listening to music while working on my garden and helping my succulents propagate! I love plants, I find working in the soil to be very meditative and grounding for the soul.
My favorite outdoor activity is riding mountain bikes and hiking in the hills of New Mexico, as well as fishing in Lake Amistad, TX
Self-care for me is watching a funny but familiar movie that makes me laugh, i.e., “What About Bob.”
I love learning about the stars above us and the many galaxies that are lightyears away.
My favorite Austin activity is eating at Matt’s El Rancho with my family.
For me, creativity is not following directions when creating something from the heart, mind and soul. There is no thought, and through this our true creativity is found.
The best Saturday afternoon includes walking in my neighborhood with my significant other and our two miniature dachshunds.
I’m a total nerd about anything having to do with new psychology/neuroscience reports that are new and of interest to me. I also love learning about Geology and how our land formations have been created around us, as well as how resources found in specific regions can change entire ecosystems and economies.
